Traditional medicine has its own characteristics in every culture around the world. Some written records of the use of medicinal herbs date back to the third millennium BC. Living in a modern world with cutting-edge technology that promises youth and beauty in every tube, injection or pill, it's easy to see how far we've come from those simple herbal treatments. Therefore, sometimes it seems that it is not so easy to cook something truly healthy at home, for example, a skin scrub.
But it's also easy to see that we feel much better when we eat natural foods, spend a lot of time outdoors, and bring elements of nature into our daily lives. The plant world around us has provided us with an incredible array of fruits, herbs, seeds and flowers that have been used for generations to maintain beauty and health. All these plants have their own properties, some nourish and pamper us, others cleanse and balance our body.
One way to get closer to nature is to make your own cosmetics and personal care products. Although this is not always possible, due to the fact that not all the necessary products are at hand. But what we will try to do today will be pleasant and simple enough. A body scrub is an easy way to use the ingredients that are readily available and you may already have at home to transform your regular shower experience into a spa 😄.
When applied topically, the caffeine in coffee stimulates blood flow to the area, making skin bright and supple. It can also help reduce inflammation and swelling, which leads to a tightening effect on the skin. And the protective, antioxidant properties of coffee will not only get in with your morning cup of cappuccino, but will now support the entire surface of your skin.
Another very useful ingredient - CINNAMON , increases blood flow to the upper layers of the skin, acts as a natural exfoliator of the skin and helps restore its luster and elasticity. Due to its antibacterial and antifungal properties, cinnamon also helps to quickly and effectively kill germs and heal wounds.
Revitalize your tired skin with this invigorating coffee cinnamon exfoliator. Antioxidant-rich coffee grounds and warming cinnamon will stimulate circulation, while skin-soothing coconut oil will hydrate your skin, which together with other ingredients, will give you smoother and firmer skin at the same time.
