Who doesn't want beautiful, healthy hair that also grows fast? You involuntarily begin to think about this when you read in the supermarket the inscriptions on hair products “long and strong”, “accelerates hair growth”, and so on. How do I know what will actually help my hair? One good way to do this is to choose foods that are free of harmful chemicals. Better yet, you could make your own products. And today we will talk about the well-known Henna.
DIY hair growth booster products can be very helpful. Especially if you use an ingredient like henna. Below we have compiled a list of seven henna hair growth treatment recipes for you, but first let's look at how henna promotes hair growth.
WHAT HENNA FOR HAIR IS USEFUL
1. Supports scalp health
Henna perfectly refreshes the scalp. This, combined with the antimicrobial properties, helps keep the scalp healthy. Which, in turn, helps fight diseases such as dandruff.
2. Normalizes the production of sebum and maintains the necessary pH LEVEL
Not only does henna prevent problems like dandruff, it's also a great ingredient for balancing sebum production and balancing the scalp's pH levels. It removes excess oils from your hair, helps cleanse the follicles, and also restores the normal functioning of the sebaceous glands.
3. Accelerates hair growth and stops hair loss
Keeping the scalp healthy, cleansing the pores and normalizing the pH level prevents hair loss and promotes healthy hair growth. Henna will not only help your hair grow faster, but it will also improve its texture.
4. Repairs and strengthens hair
The nutrients found in henna help nourish your hair and repair hair damage at the same time. Normalizing the pH level also helps seal the hair cuticle, resulting in shinier locks. It also helps improve hair elasticity.
5. Improves the overall condition of the hair
Henna builds a protective barrier around every hair strand, locking in moisture and keeping your hair looking its best. Henna can be especially beneficial when used in hair masks in combination with other moisturizing ingredients. Henna helps to minimize problems like hair breakage and split ends.
USING Henna FOR HAIR GROWTH - SIDE EFFECTS AND PRECAUTIONS
It is extremely important that the henna you use is 100%(!) organic. This is because most henna powders sold in stores contain harsh chemicals such as PPD (paraphenylenediamine) to improve color results. These chemicals can cause the following problems:
- Paraphenylenediamine is an allergen that can cause adverse reactions on skin contact. You may not have a reaction on the first or second use, but the more your skin comes into contact with the chemical, the more likely you are to be allergic.
- The chemicals added to henna powders can make the scalp very dry. They can also cause your hair to become coarse, dry, and unmanageable. And, as a result, to problems such as brittleness, poor hair texture and extremely unruly hair.
- Contact with henna in the eyes can cause redness, irritation, tearing, and itching. If this happens to you, rinse your eyes with cold water immediately. If problems persist, contact your optometrist as soon as possible.
And now let's look at the different ways to use henna to stimulate hair growth.
