INNA CODRU , MAY 18, 2018

It is believed that honey does not deteriorate over time, as evidenced by the fact that absolutely edible honey was found in the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun, which had lain in the grave for more than 2000 years. Honey has been used medicinally and cosmetically in various cultures for thousands of years. And why not?

It works as a great moisturizer and cleanser and fights acne and all signs of aging. But the best quality of honey is that it contains over 80% sugar, which we all know acts as a gentle yet effective exfoliator and remover of all dead pigmented skin cells.

Which, in turn, promotes the growth of new and healthy skin cells in their place. So go get yourself a jar of honey and try the recipes below to get rid of all your age spots for good.

Method number 2 :

Facial mask - Honey and tomato juice

!!! WARNING: For oily skin types, it's best to do a patch test before using any honey-based home remedy to see how your skin reacts to it.

Tips: Use homemade or organic honey instead of the processed honey commonly found in stores. Raw honey contains all the nutrients that are good for your skin, which are often filtered out during the industrial processing of honey.
