Over the past hundred years, both thin lips and plump lips, as well as lips of various shapes, have been in fashion. Nowadays, having very full lips has become incredibly fashionable. We have already talked about how to make lips soft and tender, with slight swelling . Today we will talk about how to give lips more volume.
Let's say you want to slightly improve your lips without a) spending too much money and b) without using all kinds of injections. Then you have come to the right place. Here we list three steps that will help visually increase the volume of your lips.
1. First things first: take an exfoliating pad and gently rub it over your lips in a circular motion. Not only does it help remove dead skin cells from the lips (dry lips reflect less light, making them look thinner), but it also promotes blood circulation (which actually plumps them up temporarily).
2. Then, after exfoliating, generously apply special lip balm and leave for a few minutes before applying lipstick. Whether you use special sticks for this or simply lubricate them with a thick ointment, moisturizing your lips is the key(!) to making them look fuller.
3. Finally, add lip care to your evening exercise routine. After all, skin care doesn't have to be limited to eye cream. Ingredients such as peptides and HYALURONIC ACID also work great on the lips, giving them a full look and preventing wrinkles from appearing during sleep.
And another tip from one of our favorite makeup artists, Lisa Eldridge.
Here's what she writes - "And despite the fact that on Instagram we constantly see how lip injections are advertised, the good news is that you do not need to take such drastic measures to achieve the fullness of your lips. If plush," pout "artificial lips are not what you would want for yourself, then pay attention to a more than modest tube of lip gloss. (It will, of course, be a big plus, the presence of ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and peptides in it.) "
It is lip gloss, because a fact is a fact - something that glitters and reflects light - that gives a three-dimensional effect, thanks to which thin lips will become fuller, thanks to a few simple movements. Just make sure you do it right.
How to do it? Instead of applying gloss all over the place, as everyone usually does, add a smear in the center of the upper and lower lips just to draw attention to the fullest parts of the lips. And, if you really want to give your lips maximum volume, finish by applying a little champagne-lit highlighter on your Cupid's nose (top of the upper lip) and just below the middle of the lower lip to add more depth to them.
