I'm pretty sure that your mom, grandma and probably many women in your life have often said that almonds are an amazing solution for all skin, hair and memory problems. Why not?

Almonds are saturated with oleic and linoleic acids, unsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols and vitamins A, B2, B6, D and E. Wow! This makes one wonder how one small nut can contain so many nutrients, right? Because of all these wonderful goodies found in it, the oil extracted from almonds is considered one of the elixirs in the dermatology and cosmetic industry.

Thus, it is not surprising that almond oil is excellent for fighting age spots. Plus, it also acts as an effective sunscreen, protecting your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. Not bad, right? Almond oil is non-greasy, absorbs quickly, and isn't too heavy on the skin, making it great for people with sensitive skin.

Method number 1 :

Facial Mask - Pure Almond Oil

Bottled sweet almond oil can be found at any pharmacy and one small bottle can last for months.

What you will need:

  • Sweet almond oil

Mode of application:

  • Rub a few drops of almond oil between your fingers and apply it all over your face like a lotion. Make sure you apply a little more to the blemishes.

  • Don't rinse!

How often?

Every evening, before bed.

Method number 2 :

Facial mask - Almond oil, lime juice, milk powder and honey

The vitamin E in almond oil, the citric acid in lime juice, and the lactic acid in milk powder all combine to create one wonderful remedy, perfect for fighting those dastardly dark spots. Honey just adds a bit of hydration while dampening the acidic properties of the other three ingredients.

What you will need:

  • 4-5 drops of almond oil

  • 2 teaspoons lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon dry milk

Mode of application:

  • Mix almond oil, lime juice, honey and milk powder in a clean bowl.

  • Apply the paste on your face and leave for half an hour.

  • Wash off with clean water.

How often?

Three times a week.

Method number 3 :

Facial mask - Almond oil and vitamin E oil

Vitamin E oil and almond oil are two concentrated liquids that work great to lighten dark spots on the skin, making it look brighter and more radiant.

What you will need:

  • 1 teaspoon almond oil

  • 2 drops vitamin E oil

  • microwave oven

Mode of application:

  • In a small bowl or cup, add almond oil and vitamin E oil. You can use bottled vitamin E oil or squeeze oil from a vitamin E capsule.

  • Heat the butter mixture for 10 seconds in the microwave.

  • Apply it on your face like a lotion.

  • Gently rub the oils into the pigment spots in a circular motion for 10 minutes.

  • Wipe your face with a damp towel.

How often?

Every evening, before bed.

!!! WARNING: If you are allergic to almonds or any other nuts, stay away from almond oil as it can give you a pretty severe allergic reaction even when used topically.

Tips: Since it's non-comedogenic (non-greasy and absorbs quickly), you can apply almond oil a few minutes before applying makeup to prevent clogging your pores and drying out your skin.

Almond oil is also a great makeup remover that removes even the most stubborn water-repellent makeup.

Add 4-5 almonds to your daily diet for complete depigmentation, hair strengthening and memory enhancement.
