SELECTING THE RIGHT EFFECT OF EYELASH EXTENSIONS UNDER THE SHAPE OF YOUR EYES

Volume eyelash extensions, types and effects. We select the shape of the eyes.

If you have not been blessed with natural long eyelashes, then you have the opportunity to get eyelash extensions and get beautiful eyelashes and a languid look (you can also try EYELASH LAMINATION, but more on that in another article ). However, the type of extensions you choose will largely depend on the shape of your eyes.

There are several different effects created with eyelash extensions that allow you to emphasize certain parts of the eye, visually lengthen it or round it. It also allows you to hide certain imperfections and change the apparent shape of the eye. Therefore, when choosing the effect when building, it is very important to build on the shape of the client's eye. And this must be done with skill. To do this, we will try to understand all the intricacies of this choice.

If you are going to make yourself an extension for the first time, then it is not at all necessary to thoroughly understand all the nuances of this procedure. The main thing is to find a suitable master who will explain everything to you, advise and do it. However, if you still want to determine what kind of eye shape you have, and what type of extension suits you best, and which one is better not to use, then I will tell you about it.

We will look at nine of the most common eye shapes. And then we will show which effect is best suited to a particular eye shape.

In this article, I will not tell you how to correctly determine your own eye shape. It is VERY affordable and with pictures painted here on this site .

We will talk about What eyelash extension effect is suitable for one or another eye shape :

So, let's start with the round shape of the eyes. Round eyes are approximately the same width and height. This eye shape looks best when longer lashes are applied from the center to the outer corners of the eyes. This choice will create a natural cat-eye effect.

Close-set eyes. This form is determined quite simply, if the distance between the eyes is less than the size of the eye, then you have close-set eyes.

Here, when building up, it is better to use the same effect as with the round shape of the eyes. Closer to the bridge of the nose, shorter eyelashes are used for extension, and longer ones are used to the outer corners of the eyes. This will make such eyes, visually, more widely spaced.

Wide-set eyes. If the distance between the eyes is greater than the size of one eye, then this form is called wide-set eyes. In this case, you need to give the eyes a more rounded shape, this requires longer eyelashes to grow in the center of the eyelids. A simple natural effect is also suitable.

Asian eyes . In this case, as well as wide-set eyes, here it is necessary to give roundness to the eyes by building longer eyelashes in the center of the eye. Also, this eye shape, oddly enough, is well suited for the effect of a cat's eye with long eyelashes on the outer corners.

Hooded eyes . This is such a shape of the eyes, when a layer of skin, as it were, hangs slightly over the eyelid. This makes the eyelid appear smaller. This shape of the eyes is quite common, so the masters need to know that in this case it is necessary to create the illusion of depth in the eye. To do this, use long eyelashes from the center of the eye to the edges (you can slightly less long to the edges of the eyes).

Deep-set eyes. Deep-set eyes look large because they are deeper than usual. Women with this eye shape can sometimes also have a more prominent brow bone. If you have this eye shape, then the longer the eyelashes you use, the better. In any case, you need to use longer eyelashes than usual in order to visually "pull" the eyes forward a little.

Eyes with raised corners . Owners of this eye shape may express a desire to emphasize it, in which case we use the fox effect. If there is a desire to divert attention from the raised corners of the eyes, then use less curled eyelashes for the outer corners of the eyes than for the rest of the eye. For example, if you use a "C" bend for the eye, then you need a "B" bend for the outer corners.

Eyes with downturned corners . In this case, it is necessary to visually lift the edge of the eye up. This can be achieved by applying the squirrel effect. Moreover, use eyelashes with a steeper bend on the outer corners. Moreover, it is better not to highlight the lower eyelashes.

Almond shaped eyes. This is the most convenient form of eyes for various experiments. Depending on personal preferences, almost any effect can be used here. But experts still often advise, with this shape of the eyes, to use longer eyelashes in the center to give the eyes more volume.

Bulging eyes. For owners of this eye shape, the fox effect is most suitable, as it will correct the shape of the eye, visually stretch it. It must be remembered that with this form you can not use long eyelashes in the center of the eye. Long eyelashes should be only on the outer corners of the eyes, and in the center it is better to use short eyelashes.

How to choose the right bend for building in the shape of the eyes

Immediately it is worth deciding on the bend of artificial cilia. Your choice will directly affect the final result, how exactly your look will look after the procedure. In this case, the wishes of the client will no longer be decisive for you. In this case, it is worth considering both the very shape of the eyes, and the actual condition of living eyelashes, and the lifestyle of their owner.

Different types of artificial eyelash curls are suitable for application with certain eye shapes. Of course, the maximum naturalness of both the length and the curl of the eyelash is very important. Don't let the hairs be very different from each other: this will give them an unnatural look. Currently, there are a large number of bending options. And for simplicity, they began to be denoted by Latin characters:

  • D is a good option for owners of straight, not curled eyelashes. With their help, you can create the effect of a puppet look and hide the overhanging eyelid.

  • B - these lashes are more curved than type J, but they look great on a perfect eye shape, which in itself does not require additional correction.

  • J is the most popular type of bend. These lashes look natural.

  • L is ideal for the Asian form. After eyelash extensions with such a bend, the overhanging eyelid becomes less noticeable, and the eyes become more round.

  • C is also a fairly popular variety. It perfectly corrects the shape of the eyes and makes the look more open and expressive.

  • U - is considered the most curled bend. Perfect for dark makeup lovers.

  • M is a curve that is great for adding volume and length to even the most modest natural lashes.

  • L + - perfectly masks the drooping eyelid and gives the look more expressiveness.
