THE NEW FASHION TREND FOR YOUR "SUMMER" LOOK.
Sandicure - pedicure and manicure for summer
Even in the middle of winter, you can easily bring a little bit of summer into your look. It's called "sandicure" and that's exactly what it sounds like: a manicure with sand on it.
Lauren Dunn, owner of a major nail salon in Washington DC, came up with this simple yet delightful way to spice up your regular manicure or pedicure. From where she drew inspiration, many of us are familiar - the desire to continue a wonderful vacation on the sea coast))).
Splashes of white sand on freshly painted nails, figuratively speaking, prolong the life of our holiday,” she says, adding that it provides “the perfect transition from winter to spring and summer.”
If you're ready to try, let's get started:
- 1. As usual, first apply a base coat of varnish to your nails, this is necessary to protect the structure of the nail.
- 2. After that, add two coats of your base nail polish. Of course, it would be better to choose bright colors, because a summer pedicure is a bright pedicure. Lauren recommends a cheerful coral shade, although you can use turquoise and bright orange, it's up to your taste.
- 3. Take a pinch of white sand (it is better to use decorative white sand, and not ordinary road one :)), then, on a varnish that is not yet completely dry, add it in a light scattering. You can add some bulk materials to the sand: glitter, powder, etc.
- 4. We leave it all to fix for 3 - 5 minutes.
- 5. Finally, apply a protective coat of clear lacquer.
The result is an unusual and cute beach pedicure that catches the eye with shimmering white sand and is one of the most unusual and modern ways to add texture to your nails.
